At DDressing, every piece is chosen and made with care — and we want you to feel confident before and after you order. Here's how returns work for each kind of piece.

Made-to-measure & custom pieces

Our custom dresses and costumes are crafted to your exact measurements, so they can't be returned or exchanged. To make sure yours is perfect, message us anytime before you order — we'll personally help you confirm your size and colour, and we stay with you until it arrives.

Standard-size & ready-made pieces

Selected ready-made styles can be returned or exchanged within 14 days of delivery, when unworn and with tags attached. Message us first and we'll arrange everything with you. Return shipping is covered by the customer.

One-of-a-kind & pre-owned pieces

These are unique, single-size items, so they're sold as final. We're always happy to share extra measurements, photos or a personal home video before you buy — so you can check the condition, fit and detail and decide with full confidence. Just message us.

If something isn't right

If your item arrives damaged or not as described, message us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo and we'll make it right — with store credit or a refund, depending on the case. You won't need to ship anything back.

How to start a return

Reply to your order confirmation email or message us in chat within 14 days. Please wait for our written confirmation before sending anything back — this makes sure your return reaches the right place and avoids unnecessary customs charges. We recommend a trackable shipping method.

Refund timing

Once a return is approved, refunds are processed within 5 business days to your original payment method or as store credit.

International returns

For orders shipped outside the EU, customers are responsible for return shipping and any customs fees or import duties. Please contact us first so we can guide you.
